Children in KS2 celebrated their Harvest Assembly at St John’s Church in Gowerton. Reverend Alex talked to the children about the importance of Harvest and what the the different parts of the church represent. He even tested the teachers. Can your child remember how many books are in the Old Testament and New Testament? Reverend Alex shared a special way for us to remember.

Year 3 were first to perform their song called ‘Harvest.’ Da iawn Rabbits and Badgers.

Year 4 were next to perform their song called ‘Harvest Samba.’ Bendigedig Hedgehogs and Deers.

Reverend Alex asked us to consider the importance of Harvest. He used the letters in the word HARVEST to make other words of significance. Can you remember what they were?

Year 5 performed their song called ‘We Like Joyful Music.’ Da iawn Otters and Squirrels.

Year 6 performed their song called ‘Let’s Harvest.’ Bendigedig Magpies and Squirrels.

A special thank you to Reverend Alex for the warm welcome and leading our Harvest assembly. Also, to our wonderful children for performing so beautifully. Da iawn bawb!
