Today the Badgers thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a range of activities to celebrate World Maths Day. All of the activities were linked to geometry and measure and used lots of different natural resources! The Badgers visited all of the KS2 classes and completed a different activity in each one. At the end of each activity they were given a true or false statement linked to Autumn maths. If they got the answer right, they won a special scroll with a letter on it. At the end of all of their activities they put the letters together to spell ‘Willow’. This revealed the hiding place of the mystery prize – A golden pine cone with a special letter attached to it. The letter congratulated us and stated we won extra play and hot chocolate on Friday – Yum!!
