A perfect day to use the outdoors for some creative activities. Use paint or even felt pens to create and colour patterns, swirls or large writing on paper or card. Use the thickest paper that you have to avoid it disintegrating or use card from empty cereal packets.
Take a photo of your artwork if you can, before and after, or just appreciate the effect of the rain!
An unexpected result from placing the paper underneath a dripping gutter – the force of the raindrop continuously dropping in the same place has made a hole in the paper.
The effects of water erosion can be seen in the natural world – Water erosion is when water moves soil and other natural materials from one spot to another.
Have a go!
