Hello brilliant Bumblebees.
I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
Thank you to all of you who have kept in touch this week and have shared your work. I have really enjoyed seeing your work.
This week we are continuing with our pirate theme.
Exciting news – As we begin to roll ‘Seesaw’ out throughout the school, it is Year 2 and Year 3’s turn to ask for consent. Please ensure you complete the consent on ‘forms’ in order for us to give access to your child’s Seesaw account.
Seesaw is a secure online digital portfolio/journal of work. The children already have a portfolio/journal and we have been using this platform in school over this academic year and towards the end of last year. There is already a wealth of learning in your child’s portfolio and you will see a range of outdoor , creative, folk dancing, recorder lessons, maths activities etc in your child’s portfolio.
We will also share announcements with you from time to time via Seesaw.
Hopefully by using Seesaw it will be easier to upload and share the wonderful learning opportunities and experiences that have been going on at home e.g. if you were out on a walk and you wanted to share something with your teacher it is much easier to do through Seesaw.
Your child will be given the opportunity to add photos, videos, artwork, voice recordings to their Seesaw journal for us to see.
Seesaw will not replace Microsoft Teams, it will compliment it and we will continue to upload work into the files section on Microsoft Teams.
The weekly planner is uploaded below and as always remember to log on to Microsoft Teams through your Hwb account to access all the resources and activities which are all saved into the Year 2 folder in the Files section.
Thank you as always for your continued support.
Have a fantastic week.
